About Us

The Jordan SharePoint User Group (JSUG) is the very first SharePoint User Group in the Middle East. It was formed to connect SharePoint professionals within Jordan together, to share knowledge and build a higher level of awareness for SharePoint Products and Technologies within the region.

Whether you are an expert in SharePoint, or would just like to know what SharePoint is and what it can do, JSUG is the place for you. We meet every month to discuss various SharePoint topics. Our speakers vary from real-world SharePoint professionals, Microsoft MVPs, to Microsoft employees. If you have a certain topic you would like to present, please send us an email to meetings@jordansug.com.

In addition to our monthly meetings, JSUG provides an online site where members can discuss various topics relating to SharePoint, download presentations from our sessions, and access resources such as videos, screencasts, podcasts, and blogs.

Muhanad Omar [MVP] works as a SharePoint Specialist for Devosis. He has been working with SharePoint Products and Technologies for several years now, implementing large-scale projects for both public and private sectors in the Middle East. He has been implementing MOSS 2007 for the public sector for the past year, and was on the team which implemented the Zain Portal, the first MOSS WCM site in Jordan.
